These images placed in the top 100 of the 2017 Shoot and Share Contest, one of the world’s largest photography contests (over 350,000 images were submitted this year). Here’s a shout out to the Last Family, who made it all possible with their adorable 6 kiddos!
This was a rare photo opportunity for this extended family, who traveled from all over the place to document these three generations holding hands at the same place and time! Photos like these, that capture a family as whole, will undoubtedly be treasured and passed along for many years to come.
The Jesrani family flew in from Texas to celebrate one great event after another…Jaya’s first birthday, and her aunt’s engagement. The weather turned out to be great, and every member of the family was so…happy. Its such a simple word but really, how wonderful is it to be around sincerely happy people? And what a breeze it is to photograph them! I didn’t cue them once. All these shots were taken while they did what came naturally. So naturally…these images radiate the color happy 🙂
The Melnik family flew in from Colorado for a work-related trip, and capitalized on the opportunity to be photographed by the beach. They timed their trip perfectly – the day of their session, it was in the 80’s, and then just two days later Orange County was covered in rain. Not only did the weather cooperate, but so did their baby boy, who was all smiles for the first 30 minutes of the shoot. This is AMAZING for any baby his age, much less one traveling and in the middle of jet lag! It all came together for these sweet out-of-towners!
